If you have reviewed our large stock product selection, and determined that you need to order a custom case, then you are at the right place.  Since 1993, Colorado case Company has specialized in making custom soft cases (gig bags) and custom case covers for any instrument.  We have fine tuned our system that allows you to design your own case and have it produced as a single unit at an affordable cost.  Additionally, we are dealers for several lines of premier flight cases and the ordering process for those is also covered on this page.  Remember, if at any point you have questions, you can always contact us by phone, email or live operator for assistance.  We want you to be 100% satisfied with your custom case product from Colorado Case Company.

Custom Soft Cases & Case Covers
To order a custom soft case or case cover there are two steps.  First, you need to tell us who you are, what you are ordering, how will you pay for it, and where do you want it shipped.  You can do this by ordering the selected item(s) on this website, or by completing the custom order form and returning it to us by mail, email or FAX.  This is an editable form that can be filled out on your computer and emailed to sales at coloradocase dot com.
Second, in addition to the order form, we will need a tracing of your case, or instrument.  This is true for 99% of the orders, regardless of how popular or common the case or instruments are.  If in doubt, you can contact us and ask, but the answer will almost always be "yes, we need tracings".  Tracings are full size drawings, not measurements.  The exceptions are symmetrical or rectangular items like keyboards or hammered dulcimers.  If you provide measurements, they must be in inches.  We are not responsible for conversion errors or orders submitted in metric units.  We will always try to do measurement conversions properly, but we are an American company and the unit of measure in America is inches, feet, yards etc. Since tracings are full size drawings, they will need to be mailed or shipped by UPS or FedEx.  Please do not send by any USPS service which requires a signature, as it will result in delays of up to two weeks. Tracings will not be returned as they may be damaged and they may contain proprietary design notes once we are finished.  All tracings, sketches, photographs and other communications become the property of Colorado Case Company upon submission. If your instrument has a high bridge or other unusual construction, there may be an applicable pattern fee assesed.  We will contact you by phone or email if this applies to you. We do not use CAD files.  Pictures, sketches and drawings are always useful as supplemental information.

Custom Rigid Flight Cases
If you are ordering a rigid flight case for a harp, keyboard or hammered dulcimer, please follow the directions above for ordering a soft case or case cover.

If you are ordering a Karura or Calton case, please submit the custom order form described above, and the appropriate measurement form below.  In addition, we may need a body tracing, especially if the case is for an unusual instrument or from a smaller luthier.  Please call us to find out if that will be required, or you can simply include it with your order.  Tracings will not be returned as they may be damaged and they may contain proprietary design notes once we are finished.  All tracings, sketches, photographs and other communications become the property of Colorado Case Company upon submission.  All of these measurement forms are for use with an acoustic guitar.  If you are ordering a custom case for a different instrument, please refer to the manufacturers website, or contact us for assistance.
