Harp

All of our Colorado Case Company brand rigid harp cases are made from your tracings.  Making a tracing is a very simple process with complete instructions on the left hand side of this, and every page, of our site.  Alternatively, you can call us for assistance.  In general, our rigid harp cases are designed to be used with a soft harp case. If you plan to use it with a harp soft case then you put the instrument in the harp soft case and trace the soft case.  Otherwise, you just trace the bare instrument.

 

Our rigid harp cases are made of a superlightweight laminated iso foam.  The inside of the case is lined with a soft gray velour to protect the instrument.  The outside of the foam is covered with a heavy duty Cordura fabric shell.  The shell is removeable for easy cleaning or repair.  A standard configuration would have a large, flat zippered pockets on each side, a removeable shoulder strap and carrying handles. Our cases are designed to carry the harp on it's back and as a result there are no internal supports or molds.

 

You can also add optional fiberglass reinforcement to offer the maximum protection for your harp.  We strongly recommend the fiberglass if your instrument will be checked as airline baggage or will be out of your immediate control.  The fiberglass will add additional weight, but will offer the maximum protection for your harp.
