All domestic and international orders are shipped via UPS, unless you choose USPS. Since we do not typically ship US mail, be sure that you have provided a physical address to avoid delays. If you select USPS Priority or International Priority mail, be aware that these services are not trackable and not insured. In the event of loss or damage of a Priority or International Priority package, we will assist in any way we can, but the buyer assumes the risk of loss or damage when they select these services. All FedEx, UPS and USPS Express packages are insured and trackable. Please report any shipping damage within 72 hours to mantain all claim options. Also, be aware that as a result of our US Post Office pick up procedure, packages shipped by this carrier may be delayed up to one week.
On occasion we run a "Free Shipping" promotion. This offer only applies to soft cases and case covers. We believe we have correctly setup the website to differentiate between these and harp cases or accessories. However, we reserve the final right to restrict the offer at our sole discretion, regardless of if the website allows the purchase or not. If there is an error, we will contact you immediately. "Free Shipping" promotions are only available in the contiental United States, for ground shipping by FedEx or similar carrier at our sole discretion. In addition, the "Free Shipping" promotion can't be used in conjunction with any other discounts, promotions or offers.
All shipments are governed by the rules of their respective carrier. Colorado Case company shall not be responsible for delivery problems, including misssed delivery dates/times that are the sole responsibility of the carriers. While we will assist with any problems, your sole remedy is limited to a refund of the shipping charges, per our sole discretion.
In our system "stock" means we have a stock pattern and no tracing is required. It does not mean that it is an item that is built and ready to ship, but it could. Most stock items are ready to ship and will be shipped within 2 business days of receiving your order. However, some stock items will need to be built and could take our normal 4 to 6 weeks. This is also true if you order stock items with custom options or in non-standard colors. Custom Colorado Case case covers and soft cases ship in about 4 to 6 weeks, Colorado Case Company rigid cases ship in 8 weeks, Small Dog & Cavallaro custom cases ship in about 4 weeks. If you have a special deadline, please make sure we know and we will try and accomodate your needs.
All shipping charges reflect our actual costs for freight and packaging. We includes a flat $5 fee to cover the price of the packaging and handling on domestic shipments. For international shipments we add a $10 fee to cover the price of packaging, handling and customs paperwork.
The shipping charges for some large rigid cases can't be properly calculated online and the actual charges will likely be higher than shown. These charges will be handled as a seperate transaction, and we will contact you regarding payment options. If you have any questions about these charges, please contact us before ordering.
